This moderated list will have discussions related to BPO and call center industry in India. The moderator's decision to approve the posting is final.
What is allowed on the list?
- Ask about which vendor to consider [e.g. for IPLC, software, hardware]
- Ask which tools to use [for e..g scheduling software]
- Ask about training courses, certification etc
- Ask about the BPO business in general [e.g. is medical transcriptions still profitable?]
What is NOT allowed on the list? Also, the reasons for your postings for being rejected.
- DO NOT ask for work.
- No promotional emails. Don't bother to introduce your company. [e.g. don't send any marketing material about your call center because they are on our Companies page anyways]
- No scam emails.
- The subject and body of the message are not related (this is happening very often, also known as thread hijacking).
- If your response is just "thank you"..instead write it to the intended person directly.
- If you have enclosed other BPO postings in your email and it has nothing to do with your message (also known as thread hijacking).
- If you are responding to a query chances are you should be sending that response directly to person asking the question and not to the list. Members tend to introduce/re-introduce their call centre on the list. Please understand, nobody cares. You should send information about yourself to the person asking the question directly.
